Mayekawa Italia – Standard Package Division has awarded at the beginning of this year, an order for no. 2 Carbon dioxide screw compressors, compound model C3225MSC and no. 2 Ammonia single stage compressors model N280VJL.

Those units will be installed in a plant for the reuse, purification, and liquefaction of the CO₂ naturally present in the geothermal fluids of the central Italy power plants. The CO₂ is for food purposes.

The delivery is scheduled in April 2024.

Due to the high discharge pressure (27,5 bar A) the CO₂ compressors are made off: Viton O-rings, Low Temperature Cast Steel and Gylon gasket. The compressors are designed @30bar G.
